1. Accepting these terms

By using the Fraction Calculator site, including the fraction calculator and our guides, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. Who we are

The site is operated by the Fraction Calculator team, based in the United States. You can reach us through our Contact Us page.

3. The service

The site offers a free online fraction calculator and related guides. We may change, pause, or remove any feature at any time, without notice. You don’t need an account or payment to use the calculator.

4. Educational use

The calculator and guides are for learning and general use. They support, and don’t replace, a teacher, a textbook, or your own working. Students should follow their teacher’s instructions on whether a calculator may be used for homework or tests.

5. Accuracy

We check our rules and examples against authoritative math sources and test the calculator regularly. Even so, we can’t promise that every result or explanation is free of errors at all times. Decimal results may be rounded; the fraction form is the exact result. Check important results yourself, especially for work involving money, safety, construction or medicine. If you find an error, please tell us.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for anything unlawful
  • Try to break, overload or disrupt the site, or gain access to parts of it you’re not meant to reach
  • Use bots, scrapers or automated tools to send large numbers of requests or copy the site’s content
  • Copy, resell or republish the calculator or our guides without permission
  • Send harmful code, spam or abusive messages through our contact form

7. Our content

The site’s text, guides, examples, design and calculator code belong to us or our licensors. You may use the calculator and read the guides for personal, classroom and non-commercial purposes. Teachers may share links to our pages with students. Copying or republishing our content in full, or presenting it as your own, needs our written permission. The site may link to other websites, such as the math standards and textbooks we cite. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content.

9. Messages you send us
